Why It Matters
Troop 69 is out doing something all year long: monthly campouts, merit badge adventures, and a week at summer camp that most Scouts talk about until the next one.
This past June, nine Scouts and four leaders spent ten days in California. Every one of them finished the Clavey, an 8.5-mile hike climbing 1,500 feet with a night under the stars, earning the troop the right to hang its sign on the Clavey shack. Then came Monterey Bay, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, the Golden Gate Bridge, and more In-N-Out than anyone will admit to.
Troop 69 usually camps close to home. That trip happened because a community showed up for these boys.
Every ticket helps pay for the gear, fees, and travel that keep Scouts in the field. Buy a meal. Tell a friend.
Good food. Great cause. Greater futures.
